What I’ve been doing recently…I attended Alcoa High School for my freshman year and won the AHS talent show in April? I think it was April. I played the violin and sang to “Send Me a Song” by Celtic Woman. I’ve started taking lessons from Ms. Kathy Huber recently hoping to explore my ablities and someday be experienced enough to audition for various musicals, and maybe a tv appearance! . I’ve started guitar lessons as well and hope to incorporate that into some song writing in the near future.

The Rising Star competition gave me an excellent opportunity to share my abilities and interests with the surrounding community. I was able to gain experience as a performer and have been excited to meet and converse with other various musical instructors, writers, and singers that were also part of the event. The Rising Star competition was a wonderful experience, and I am proud to say that I had a part in it.
