Blount County has talent….
This has been conversation since Rising Star of Tennessee started. Each year as we listen to the cds to choose the semi finalist it is mind boggling to hear the talent we have living in Blount County, Tn. My first year at a semi finals performance really dumb founded me a see an 11 year old produce a voice that sounds like an adult.W really have some talent “hiding in them there hills”
I took the time to find two articules in “The Daily Times” that supports my argument….
Vonore’s Vanessaa Wolfe advance on ‘America Idol’
Start of a journey: Alcoa teen still riding ‘American Idol’ roller coaster
And I found a little bit of info on www.knoxville.com about Bryan Walker from Severville:
Bryan Walker is a big, burly police officer from Sevierville, Tennessee – one we wouldn’t want to argue with over a ticket. Simon was out of the room, so he missed Bryan’s take on Ruben Studdard’s take on the Carpenter’s ‘Superstar.’ Randy was surprised as well, saying, ‘You look nothing like what you sound like … the singing police officer is hot.’ Kara sees big things in this officer’s future. ‘I think we can expect the unexpected from Bryan,’ she said.”
