Hi everyone!  Wow, it’s been a really busy summer for me and I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a lot of cool events.  I was asked back to perform at Grainger County Tomato Festival 2010 and had a blast! I would be happy to update you with the things I have been involved in since Rising Star, although you know most of it already (haha). I continued to work with Doug Hodges at Riversound Studio and recorded a CD with 5 cover songs as a demo for talent agents. I competed in the Blount County Junior Miss pageant and won the overall title, but in particular the talent portion, which i sang in. What I’ve been doing recently…I attended Alcoa High School for my freshman year and won the AHS talent show in April? I think it was April. I played the violin and sang to “Send Me a Song” by Celtic Woman. I’ve started taking lessons from Ms. Kathy Huber recently hoping to explore my ablities and someday be experienced enough to audition for various musicals, and maybe a tv appearance! . I’ve started guitar lessons as well and hope to incorporate that into some song writing in the near future.

Jordan Davis was one of five youth finalists, while Laura Bloomfield competed against four other adult vocalists. At the end of the night, our contest emcee lined the five hopefuls up, shoulder-to-shoulder beneath the spotlight, the looks on their respective faces was nothing short of stunned.
